Crossing and direction Gedser–Rostock crosses the Kadet Trench in about 1 h 45 min; Puttgarden–Rødby crosses the Fehmarn Belt in about 45 min.

No payment is taken on this page. Fares on both crossings depend on the sailing, the vehicle length and weight class and how full the departure is, so no price is shown here.

After you send this request we check availability and reply by email with the total price for your crossing, including our service fee of € __,__ per booking. Nothing is charged until you confirm that price.

Changes and cancellation. Sending a request is free and you may withdraw it at any time before you confirm. Once a reservation is confirmed, changes and cancellations follow the conditions of the operator and the fare booked; the applicable deadline and any charge are stated in the confirmation email before payment. See section 8 of the terms.

Have the vehicle registration document to hand — gross weight and length are on it.
Count every traveller, including babies and children.
Measure the whole rig if you are towing anything.
Check that everyone has valid identification for the crossing.

Gedser–Rostock — for Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig and the south-east. About 1 h 45 at sea.

Puttgarden–Rødby — for Hamburg, the Ruhr and the west. About 45 minutes at sea.
